St. Mary Medical Center Adds Two Neurologists to Staff
Bradley specializes in Epileptology and General Neurology; Mohsen has expertise in Neurology and Internal Medicine.

LANGHORNE, Pa., February 3, 2010 – Christopher Bradley, MD, PhD, a prominent neurologist specializing in research and treatment of epilepsy, and Bashar Mohsen, MD, a diplomate of the American Board of Vascular Neurology and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, have joined the Medical Staff and Neuroscience Center at St. Mary Medical Center.

Dr. Bradley earned a Doctorate in Molecular Neurobiology from Emory University, Atlanta. He received a Medical Degree from Emory University, Department of Medicine, where he also completed an Internship in Internal Medicine. He completed a Residency in Neurology and a Fellowship in Epilepsy at Yale University, New Haven, CT. Dr. Bradley is board certified in Neurology.

Dr. Bradley brings extensive experience in treating a large volume of emergent stroke patients through the Joint Commission-certified Stroke Center at Grossmont Hospital, in San Diego, CA. He taught Medical Neuroscience for Coma and Seizures at Yale University, and he served as a Clinical Instructor of Neurology at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center. His multiple accomplishments and awards include research with the National Institutes of Health, and the National Epifellows Foundation Research Fellowship.

A member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society, American Medical Association, and Society for Neuroscience, Dr. Bradley is also a member of the Physician Advisory Board of the San Diego Epilepsy Foundation. He is a widely published author and has served as an investigator for several clinical trials.

Bashar Mohsen received a Medical Degree from Damascus University School of Medicine, Damascus, Syria. He received training in Internal Medicine at Mouasat University Hospital, Damascus, Syria, and in Surgery at New Surgical Hospital, Damascus, Syria. Dr. Mohsen conducted clinical trials in Hematology and Oncology at Brookdale University Hospital in New York. He completed a Residency in Internal Medicine at the Metropolitan Hospital of New York Medical College, and a Residency in Neurology at Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Mohsen completed a Fellowship in Neurophysiology/EMG/EEG at the Saint Louis University Health Sciences Center, St. Louis, MO. In addition, Dr. Mohsen is a diplomate of the American Board of Vascular Neurology and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He previously had a neurology practice at the St. John’s Clinic at Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, MO, where he was named the physician ambassador for nursing excellence.

Dr. Mohsen is a member of American Board of Medical Specialties, American Academy of Neurology, Temple University Hospital Improvement Committee, American Headache Society, American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and American Medical Association.

He has served as a clinical investigator and presented on such topics as migraine headaches, Multiple Sclerosis, and Epilepsy.

Dr. Bradley and Dr. Mohsen are in private practice at Comprehensive Neurologic Associates, Suite 201, of the Medical Office Building on the St. Mary campus. Both are accepting new patients. Dr. Bradley is accepting new patients ages 13 years and older who have new or established diagnoses of seizure disorders. Appointments can be made by calling 215-741-9555.
